Up for sale is a Circa 1910 Japanese Kusunoki Masahige Samurai Warrior on Horseback Shakudo Patinated Bronze Sculpture by Shuzan Hideyama (Meiji Period)! It measures 13 5/8" tall, 15 3/8" long, and 7 1/2" deep. It weighs approximately 12 pounds. This Circa 1910 Japanese Kusunoki Masahige Samurai Warrior on Horseback Sculpture is an exquisite antique Asian decor piece. Made with the unique Oriental black patina technique known as shakudo, this incredible sculpture expertly depicts the famous 14th century samurai warrior Kusunoki Masahige sitting atop his horse and is modeled after the original statue that is outside of the Imperial Palace in Tokyo.
