Up for sale is a Late 19th Century French Tin-Glazed Faience Pottery Hand Painted Emile Galle Style Sitting Cat Holding Ball Sculpture! The eyes are made of glass. There is a blue underglaze French cursive "GL" potter's cypher mark on the inside bottom surface. It measures 11 1/4” tall. The piece is in excellent overall condition with minor signs of wear consistent with its age and use (scattered light surface wear; very small areas of glaze missing on both ear tips).
